USION has launched it’s Hydro division with an objective to operate as an Organisation in Manufacturing of Electrical Equipment, Hydro Electric Project, Project Engineering, Consultancy, Turnkey Execution and Commissioning of Equipment & Instrumentation including Renovation & Modernization jobs. USION has ventured into green energy for design and manufacture of hydro turbines and peripheral equipment for manual / automatic operations.


USION is a leading EPC company – engaged in Design, Supply, Manufacture, Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Electro- Mechanical Equipment for Small Hydro Power Projects on EPC basis from Concept to Commissioning.


USION strives to create a niche for itself in the field of Small Hydro Power Sector in India and overseas in a short span of time due to the unmatched quality and on time delivery of equipment offered to its customers.

DESIGN AND TYPES OF TURBINES :

Once the discharge and the net head are defined, an optimized calculations made allowing the choice of appropriate type and number of turbines that will generate maximum energy at minimum cost. USION offers following types of turbines ranging from 100 KW to 25000 KW per unit:
  • KAPLAN TURBINE
  • FRANCIS TURBINE
  • PELTON TURBINE
  • SCREW TURBINE
The disposition is then according to the Hydrology Characteristics of site.
